Description

This is Alvin a bourke parakeet that I have known from the egg. These sweet little parakeets are native to Australia. They are gentle and soft spoken with sweet little chirpy voices. I read somewhere that these birds have such good night vision that they fly on moon lit nights. Alvin and his brother Theodore are over nineteen years old now. Yes, there was a Simon. He flew over the Rainbow Bridge about four years ago.
