Description
This is a view of Helen Hunt Falls in North Cheyenne Canon in Colorado Springs. It is late fall and the trees have shed their leaves. Cheyenne Creek cascades over the fall and under the bridge that is part of the trail up into the canyon.
Helen Hunt Falls is a waterfall located on Cheyenne Creek in the North Cheyenne CaƱon Park of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The falls are named in honor of Helen Maria Hunt Jackson, a United States poet and writer who became an activist on behalf of improved treatment of Native Americans by the U.S. government. Wikipedia
