The sun came out after days of cloudy and cold weather. This crow is enjoying its warmth from a hoarfrost covered branch in Colorado.
The American crow is a large passerine bird species of the family Corvidae. It is a common bird found throughout much of North America. American crows are the new world counterpart to the carrion crow and the hooded crow. Wikipedia

Mass: 0.7 – 1.4 lbs
Lifespan: 7 – 8 years (In the wild)
Wingspan: 2.8 – 3.3 ft.
