I found myself standing in this small valley on a wonderful autumn day. The sky was gorgeous blue with wispy clouds. The trees were gold and the grass had gone to winter brown. The only sounds were the rustle of the drying leaves and the whisper of the grasses. An occasional bird call could be clearly heard across the open land. It must have been paradise. McCune Ranch, Colorado
