Description
A lovely display of color and fragrance is provided by iris plants in early summer. This is a row of heirloom iris that have bloomed faithfully for many years. I believe this iris is named Caprice.
Iris is a genus of about 260–300, species of flowering plants with showy flowers. It takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow, which is also the name for the Greek goddess of the rainbow, Iris. Wikipedia
Scientific name: Iris
