Description
This is Lambert's Locoweed. The flowers are a beautiful color but the plant is bad news for livestock. Control is difficult. It is best to keep grazing animals fenced away from areas where it grows.
For many horse owners in the West and Southwest, locoweed poisoning is a problem. With no viable antidote to reverse the neurological and systemic damage it wreaks, prevention through land management is key.
