This female house sparrow has come out of the nest under the eve of this old barn. The male has taken over baby duty while the female decides where to fly off to hunt for her breakfast.
The house sparrow is a bird of the sparrow family Passeridae, found in most parts of the world. A small bird, it has a typical length of 16 cm and a mass of 24–39.5 g. Wikipedia
