Salpiglossis or Painted Tongue is one of my favorite flowers. The colors and veining in the petals are quite lovely. It comes in a full spectrum of colors from cool blues to warm yellows and cinnamon. I grow my own every year because I am not able to find these plants in garden centers. They claim they are too hard to grow.
