Description
Petunias are an annual flower in areas that have temperatures below freezing in the winter. They are colorful and prolific bloomers used in beds and containers. Some of them are pleasantly fragrant. This image was taken at a local greenhouse.
Petunia is genus of 35 species of flowering plants of South American origin, closely related to tobacco, cape gooseberries, tomatoes, deadly nightshades, potatoes and chili peppers in the same family, Solanaceae. Wikipedia
